'The Dreamshire Chronicles' should be, (fingers crossed,) released before the end of the year...my hope is to have it released in September, around Nelsonica time. Artwork still to design for this double album though, and my 'Real Men With Ray Guns' pal, David, has not been well of late so I don't want to jeapordise his recovery by putting any pressure on him for package design stuff. But we'll see.

I'm currently trying to decide which album should follow 'Joy Through Amplification,' (which I'm hoping to release sometime next month.)

'The Dreamshire Chronicles' is a double album and will require the creation of much more artwork and package design than a single album. I'm very impatient for fans to hear 'Dreamshire' as it is a rich and complex thing...but time is tight and there's a mountain of stuff for me to prepare for Nelsonica in September, (including the convention's special 'Return To Tomorrow' album.) So...I'm beginning to think that it might be better to release 'The Palace Of Strange Voltages' album before 'Dreamshire' as it is just a single cd and will be less time consuming to put together. (And we already have thought of a stylistic blueprint for that album.)

If I do decide to go down this route, 'Palace' will first be offered for sale to Nelsonica attendees in September and then go on general release the following week. I would then aim at a November release for 'The Dreamshire Chronicles,' provided mastering and package design was completed in time.

After that, there's another album, still on the drawing board but partly begun, titled 'That Old Mysterioso.' I'd like to aim at getting this ready to release around the beginning of 2013.
Following on from that is an idea for an album titled 'Night Hails The Dreamer.' I'm looking at late winter or early Spring for that one.
As always, I'm finding it difficult to have much of a life beyond music and associated creative pre-occupations...but, so many ideas, so few hours in the day. :)

Hells Bells, Bill Nelson to edit the Sunday Sun? Now that could be interesting. I'm sure Page 3 would be kept

Dreamshire Chronicles sounds like it could be one of those extra special Bill albums that will be more than worth the wait. I'm pretty sure Joy Through Amplification is going to kick up a storm and then there's Nelsonica itself........It will be good to have something special to look forward to later in the year

You're certainly toiling hard at the musical coal face! Cleaving nuggets of wonder from the mountain of inspiration.. (this metaphor could go on a while).

How about following the Rosewood approach and releasing the Chronicles in two volumes?

Hi Bill. In view of your revised release schedule, what has become of Painting With Guitars Volume II?
I'd still like to own a recorded version of 'Blackpool Pleasure Beach and The Road To Enlightenment'!!

Looks as if it will have to wait a wee while yet as there are four or five albums in the pipeline ahead of it and I've yet to start recording the album. Probably sometime next year as I'll be working throughout the winter months as producer of a new album by Big Country.
