Latest track for 'The Dreamshire Chronicles' is a song I can only describe as a strange ambient ballad...it's titled 'Young Marvelman.' It's spooky, asymmetrical, non-linear, brief and slightly unsettling. But also, for me, quite evocative and beautiful. This album is turning into something of an enigma.

Two more songs added to 'The Dreamshire Chronicles.' One is titled 'Spinning Pentagrams' and features a film-noir sinister orchestra, a heavy riff section and surreal lyrics which tell of "ghosts dancing in a crystal conservatory."
The other is a bizarre blues built on a looped, distorted guitar riff that has an assymetrical rhythm due to it being imperfectly looped...which gives it a sort of 'off-kilter' rhythmic stutter. Overdubbed on this is are digitally filtered vocals, blues harmonica, heavy synth-drones, a touch of electronics, a piano and a string section. It's titled 'Monsters From Heaven (Flowers And Rain.)'

As I hinted at earlier, this album is turning into something rather peculiar...

"Rather peculiar" will hit all the right buttons for me :)
It seems an age since the last release  Any news of which of the recent recording will hit the store first and more importantly when?

The release order will be 'The Last Of The Neon Cynics,' then 'Joy Through Amplification,' then 'The Dreamshire Chronicles,' then an as yet un-named instrumental album whose working title, (for now,) is 'Meteorology.' Then, of course, there will be a Dreamsville 'special' album... No fixed realese dates yet though.

Don't forget Cinco, the five-CD set of new material.

Glad that Neon Cynics is due soon. As an aging comic book fan this is one I’ve been looking forward to.
Is the "Dreamsville special" album the N12 release? or something else entirely 8)

And as I indicated earlier, this album sounds like it is turning into one that I can hardly wait to hear 8)
