Last year I had to decide whether to go to the
Joy Through Amplification launch party or to
Nelsonica, given that geography for me means attending both would probably have been pushing the boat out a little too much. So given that I had not been to a
Nelsonica event before and that it would offer the better opportunity to meet as many Nelsonians as possible, I opted to choose the latter.
An extremely enjoyable event it was too, which
way more than lived up to expectations
I met so many very fine people indeed and not least
Mr Nelson himself
So this year was going to be so much easier as there was to be only one event - what could possibly stop me from attending...........?
My brother in law getting married......on the
15th of June!!! 
Hopefully it goes without saying, to
Bill and
all the Nelsonic friends I made - both in Leeds 2011 and York last year - that I would absolutely, definitely be there if I could. Unfortunately I don't think I would be too popular back home if I didn't attend this wedding
So it is with great regret that I will have to opt out of the
Blip launch
I hope those of you who are lucky enough to attend have a fantastic evening, and if anyone is attending their first Nelsonic event let me assure you that a nicer bunch of people you would be hard pushed to find
