To the man who gave me many happy hours listening to one of my favourite Be Bop tracks "Love In Flames".
May you forever have blisters upon your hands Simon.

Lots of love from Alan Gail and Lucy xxxxxxxxxxx

Happy Birthday Simon Fox. Congratulations on reaching 60 on July 12. Amazing drumming right off the top of Stage Whispers through Drastic Plastic. Blazing Apostles from Live! In the Air Age. I'd call that "Foxfire".
Take care and once again Happy Birthday!

Happy 60th Simon . Great memories of the DP tour, my first ever gig. Please pick up those sticks.

Happy Birthday Simon! I bought Sunburst Finish all those years ago without having heard a single note from BBD. I became a fan with the first song I did hear - "Fair Exchange" - and sometimes I can still remember the excitement I felt upon listening to the opening notes, including when those drums came in. Thanks for your part in making me a life-long fan.

Apologies... I hadn't seen this thread tucked away here until someone alerted me to it. It really ought to be in the 'front window' of the 'Williams World' pages where more people might see it...or at least where I might have seen it.  (Maybe one of our adminstrators can move it to that more prominent position?) But, nevertheless... (Topic moved as requested - Jon.) 8)
A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY from me to my friend Simon. Hope you're o.k. and not quite as shocked about reaching sixty as I was last December when MY 60th birthday arrived. (I'm still not entirely adjusted to being of bus pass age!)
Anyway...I hope you'll have a good day Simon!
Lots of love and fond thoughts from your old guitarist pal Bill. x

Happy Birthday Simon
You were an inspiration to me when I discovered BBD. I had the pleasure of seeing you live in Coventry on the Drastic Plastic tour... an unforgettable evening for me. I hope you have a great day.
With very best wishes
