The new museum in Menton is a stone's throw away from the old one, and one ticket covers both 8)

Kev and I enjoyed visiting them when we were out there in June of this year :D

Hadn't realised that a second Cocteau Museum had been built. There was only the original one on the harbour (plus the Marriage Salon,) in Menton, last time I visited. (Which was the last time I had a proper holiday...years and years ago now.) This new one seems to house the famous Severin collection. I'd love to go visit it but the chances of me getting a holiday are extremely thin, certainly this year as there has been such a lot of domestic repairs and so on to deal with. I wonder if next year might prove more favourable to getting down there? It's my favourite part of the world after North Yorkshire. :)

Menton: That's getting pretty close to being in classic Magdalene/Black Madonna territory.

Long live the Priory of Sion. ;)

I hope next year brings a well-deserved holiday for you, Bill. I can see why you love the area so much. I hadn't realised how beautiful it is, till our week there in June. The museum itself is pretty amazing, both it's looks from the outside, and the treasures within. I hope you get there soon, Bill :)
